Minister of Tourism & Economic Affairs, Transportation and Telecommunications (TEATT) Hon. Romeo Pantophlet, left the island on Sunday leading a delegation to the 19th Annual Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Conference and Trade Show that is being hosted by Curacao.
Minister Pantophlet and port officials will be meeting with key FCCA executives during the conference where they will share ideas and discuss industry trends.
Executives from the FCCA Member Lines will once again participate in a series of round table discussions in the areas of marketing, shore excursions and operations.
The FCCA is a not-for-profit trade organization composed of 14 member cruise lines operating more than 100 vessels in Floridian, Caribbean and Latin American waters.
The organization was created in 1972 to provide a forum for discussion on tourism development, ports, safety, security and other cruise industry issues.
The FCCA Conference runs from October 1 – 5.
