On 16 August 2012, volunteers from the 429th Expeditionary Operations Squadron, located at the U.S. Forward Operating Location (U.S. FOL), assisted the Nos Welita Senior Citizen’s Home Project. Equipped with paint, rollers, and brushes, the volunteers spent the morning breathing new and more colorful life to several walls in the center.
This event was paramount to the completion of the overall project – a building which will serve as the home of 40 senior citizens. The men and women working at the U.S. FOL are frequent volunteers in the local community. This was yet another outstanding effort in assisting a local organization.
