—Students receive speacial treat —
The Cycle 2A year 1 students of the Marie Geneieve de Weever Primary School in Hope Estate visited the facilities of the Etna Ice-cream company on the French Side.
The twenty-six students was lead by their classroom teacher Stuart Johnson who arranged the special field trip for them. "We surely learned a lot about ice-cream and how it is made on St. Maarten," remarked a student. "This field trip like others in the past, compliments the classroom learning experience," stated Teacher Stuart Johnson. Johnson added, "My students are looking forward to the next field trip as preparations are underway already." The students are still looking forward to any business or individual willing to assist with their classroom obtaining a television and DVD player.
