The Chamber of Commerce took good note of the article on the daily news paper about complains from certain employees about businesses in Back Street. If the allegations are founded, The Chamber of Commerce strongly condemn such wrong doing and strongly advices all businesses in the Dutch Side to vigilantly comply with the Laws and Regulations of the land. The way of doing business in Sint Maarten is regulated by laws that do not discriminate on the basis of ethnic origins, nationalities or colour of skins, therefore, no business is above the law and complying with these laws is a must.
