The St. Maarten electricity company, GEBE, has produced an eco-friendly bag for the community of St. Maarten. Managing Director of GEBE William Brooks presented the first Eco-friendly bag to Governor Richards, then to other environmental foundations, namely: Pride, Nature and Heritage. This environmental activity is one of many, according to Brooks. GEBE will be distributing these eco-friendly bags when persons come to the GEBE establishment to pay their bills. The community is urged to use these bags to do their shopping. The logo for this campaign is: "Save Some Green."
