A Central Committee of Parliament hearing about the Sole Proprietorship Law was continued on February 24 after it was handled in the first week of February.
The law that parliamentarians dealt with is the National Ordinance establishing Title 13 of Book 7 of the Civil Code, National Ordinance Sole Proprietorship.
Representatives from the St. Maarten Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the bar Association of Lawyers gave their input with respect to the aforementioned national ordinance.
