Sint Maarten PRIDE foundation was awarded the SHTA Crystal Pineapple award on Saturday night. The environmental group won the award in the best environmental program category.
The award was based on an online voting system where the public could vote for their favorite nominees.
Sint Maarten PRIDE foundation thanks the general public for voting, and the Sint Maarten Hospitality and Trade Association for their continued efforts to recognise those in our community who strive to create a better Sint Maarten for residents, visitors and our tourism product called St.Maarten.
President of the Sint Maarten PRIDE foundation Jadira Veen is also the host of NATURE WATCH on Pearl Radio 98.1fm every Friday morning at 10am.
The radio show is a forum for environment and heritage issues.
