On assignment in the Dominican Republic the President of French St. Martin Baseball and Softball Association Mr. Gabriel Brown met with baseball officials of the Dominican Republic and discussed the possibility of a French St. Martin Baseball selection traveling to the Dominican Republic for a baseball tournament with teams of the Dominican Republic. French St. Martin Baseball Association will be meeting as to discuss the details of the tournament and to confirm their participation in the tournament. The selection will be formed of players living on the French Side or with French Nationality. The selection will be playing in the city of San Pedro de Macoris and in Puerto Rico in the city of Caguas. Organizers are hoping to be able to play the tournament at the Tetelo Vargas Stadium in San Pedro de Macoris. In Puerto Rico they will be playing at the Estadio Professional de Caguas. Mr. Brown will be going to Puerto Rico in month of December where among others the tournament will be discussed. Tuyo Jacobs has been requested to prepare the selection.
