On Friday September 26th, 2008, The Inspectorate of Taxes has chosen to support the TALK RED campaign, by being creative and using the little tools they have to bring BIG awareness.
The Inspectorate of Taxes with the generous donation from the SBAB will be wearing the TALK RED t-shirts this and every Friday, and in addition to the above will be distributing pamphlets, and other material for all those persons visiting the office to help bring AWARENESS towards the HIV/AIDS disease .
The Inspectorate will also have a monetary donation box at hand for the St. Maarten Aids Foundation and all those persons that donate monies will be entitled to a raffle ticket , a raffle will then take place at 2.45 pm ( 15 minutes before closing).
Prizes for the raffle have been made available by the generous support of businesses on our island, and as we are still accepting gifts, participation of those will be mentioned on Friday. As a government office we are very proud that even though financially our office could not participate by buying a month, that WE still have found a way to make a POSITIVE contribution and assist in bringing AWARENESS to this very important and worthy cause. And hope other government offices follow suit!!!
