Soualiga Corporate Toastmasters Club opened the year by inducting 5 new members, namely: Tamara Groeneveldt, Community Police Officers Daryl Chandler, Shawn Crispulo, Rensley Henson and Arcella Leonard.
After a short Christmas break the Soualiga Toastmasters enthusiastically returned to the lectern on Wednesday January 9th. Observing the theme "movies" new and seasoned Toastmasters, as well as guests, fancied themselves on a movie set. In Academy Award style several Toastmasters were recognized for their constant support, commitment and progress.
With a lot of innovative and creative activities and meetings coming up, 2013 promises to be a very active year for the Toastmasters club for civil servants. Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches communication and leadership skills through a worldwide network of more than 13,000 clubs in 116 countries.
