The Central Committee of Parliament will meet in public session on October 08. The Minister of Public Health, Social Development and Labour Hon. Cornelius de Weever will be present for the parliamentary session.
The meeting will take place on Monday morning, October 08 at 10.00am in the General Assembly Chamber of the House of Parliament at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg.
The meeting has been requested by the United Peoples (UP) Party faction. It was initially planned for September 28 but was cancelled.
The agenda point is: information on the health situation at the St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC), with its impact on the social and labour policies.
The central committee session of October 08 will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 20, via Pearl Radio FM 98.1, the audio via the Internet www.pearlfmradio.com, and also via www.sxmparliament.org.
