On Thursday March 8th, Independent Member of Parliament Patrick Illidge made good on a promise to deliver 5 more computers for a grand total of 10 to the Philipsburg Jubilee Library.
“It took some time to get all 10 computers to the Library because for whatever reason UTS were not able to make good on a promise made back then but never the less, where there is a will there is a way”, said MP Patrick Illidge. The additional 5 computers were made possible through a donation by the Diageo Company represented on St. Maarten by International Liquor & Tobacco NV, and the computers (3 desktops & 2 laptops) were supplied by Adolphus Richardson Office Technology. MP Patrick Illidge also thanked the PSB Bank for their donation of the first 5 computers done during the bank’s Grand Opening ceremony.
