A plenary session of Parliament regarding the employment status of workers at Simpson Bay Resort is scheduled for November 17.
The plenary session will take place on Thursday afternoon at 2.00pm in the General Assembly Chamber in the House of Parliament.
The session was called by the National Alliance (NA) faction in Parliament via an urgent request dated November 10, 2011 that was received by the Parliament Secretariat just before 5.00pm via email. The signed copy of the letter was received on Monday, November 14.
The meeting which is also open to the public will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 20.
