The Minister of Justice and the Minister Public Health, Social Development and Labor have authorized the issuing renewals process for BTA Category 2 permit-holders.
This process is meant for persons requiring an extension. Employers, with BTA permit-holders working for them, who’s’ permits will expire in November; will be contacted directly by phone to set up appointments.
When called, employers are expected to have the following documentation readily available at their appointment:
· valid labor registration
· valid copy of passport of the BTA applicant
· copy of residence permit of the BTA applicant
· labor agreement between the employer and the employee ( BTA applicant)
· valid medical insurance
Please be reminded that a processing fee must be paid by the employer, prior to receipt of permits.
A payment order will be issued in advance.
With regards to, applicants suspected of having submitted an request with a false employer; each person will also be contacted by phone to arrange an appointment.
Please be STRICTLY ADVISED that all persons will be contacted by phone for further instructions and to set up an appointment, walk-ins will therefore not be accepted.
