On Thursday October 19th the lady with the initials J.B. filed an official report with the Detective department stating, that on Wednesday October 18th at around 06.45 p.m. she and her son with initials S.J.G.B. were traveling in a bus from Marigot to Philipsburg.
Traveling on that bus was also another man with initials R.S.P.C. Both men are from the Dominican Republic and for some time have been having problems with each other. The suspect R.S.P.C. stopped the bus in the vicinity of Harley Davidson to step out. As the suspect was stepping out of the bus he pulled a hammer a struck the victim S.J.G.B. on his forehead causing a serious wound from which the victim bled profusely. After committing this act the suspect stepped out of the bus and left the scene. The victim and mother also stepped out of the bus to look for help. The victim was then taken by private vehicle to the hospital on the French Side for medical attention. Shortly after arriving at the hospital the victim slipped into a coma because he had suffered a serious fracture to the base of his skull. The suspect in this case has been arrested and put into custody for further investigation. The detective department is in constant contact with the hospital on the French side regarding the condition of the victim. His condition is quite serious and if his condition worsens he will be flown out to Guadeloupe. The investigation is ongoing.
