A record 56 teams registered for Sunday’s TelEm Group Scavenger Hunt with the "Blue Team" leading the pack as this year’s Scavenger Hunt Champs.
Organizers feared rains form Tropical Storm Ophelia may have washed out the event but decided to stage it anyway after listening to the appeals of contestants.
"Everything came off as planned and we are very pleased with the response. It was a great success, the best yet," said TelEm Group Manager, Marketing and Sales Mrs. Carmen Lake-Reyes.
The sentiments were shared by Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Mr. Brian Mingo who thanked participants and staff for a great job, excellently executed.
"If there was any doubt that this will be an annual event, that doubt went out of the window Sunday," said Mr. Mingo.
"Everyone had fun, customers got some great discounts on products and services and it turned out to be a great family outing," said Mr. Mingo.
The CCO congratulated all winners, especially the grand prize winners The Blue Team, who have competed in each Scavenger Hunt since they began four years ago.
He also personally thanked the team of organizers and volunteers from TelEm Group who gave up their time to once again make the event a runaway success.
