On Friday September 23rd 2001, the police department received notice from the Sint Maarten Medical Center the victim M.D. who was shot several times during an attempted robbery on Wednesday September 23rd in his store (Baby and Kids) on Backstreet had died on Friday morning at approximately 07.30 a.m. as a result of the wounds he sustained during this incident. The body of the victim was immediately confiscated for further investigation. The Police department is asking anyone who may have information that could shed some light on this investigation to please come forward and give this information.
