TelEm Group announced Friday, that due to the malfunction of a GSM 900Mhz antenna in Beacon Hill, TelCell mobile services in Beacon Hill and parts of the Maho area are currently not available to customers.
The damage to the antenna is serious and requires replacement parts which have been ordered and are scheduled to be delivered on the island and installed by Tuesday upcoming.
TelEm Group is assuring mobile customers from the Beacon Hill and surrounding area that all efforts are being made to restore services to them as soon as possible.
Management is meantime thanking affected customers for their understanding and has also apologized for any inconvenience caused.
