The Island decree nr. 38 with general measures, outlined the tariffs for the new services to be offered at the department of Agriculture Animal Husbandry and Fishery. This publication is available for inspection by the general public for 3 months at the Government Administration Building.
The Island Government of the Public Entity of St. Eustatius decided in its meeting of January 17th 2011 to set the rates for new services at the department of Agriculture Animal Husbandry and Fishery. This decree will take effect from the beginning of March 2011.
THE TARIFFS FOR THE NEW SERVICES ARE:
Slaughter of :
Cows : $ 25,00
Goats : $ 5,50
Sheep : $ 5,50
Pigs : $ 13,00
Cutting of meat:
From 0 through 10 pounds : $ 5,00
Each additional pound : $ 0,50
Usage of refrigerators
The first two days : rent -free
From the third day, per day : $ 1,00
Holding of cattle:
The first 24 hours : free of charge
Daily or part of the day after 24 hours : $ 25,00
Rental Services:
A cart for animals, each time : $ 15,00
Tractor hourly rate : $ 60,00 not registered
Tractor hourly rate : $ 35,00 registered
Materials:
Barbed wire : $ 25,00 not registered
Barbed wire : $ 15,00 registered
Sheep wire : $200,00 not registered
Sheep wire : $150,00 registered
Registration:
Livestock owner per year : $ 30,00
Agriculturalist, Fisherman per year : $ 25,00
The interpretation of registered in the ordinance article 1, is meant: livestock owners, farmers, Fisherman in that capacity registered at the Department of Agriculture Animal Husbandry and Fishery.
Not registered: is meant livestock owners, Famers, Fisherman that are not registered in that capacity at the department of Agriculture Animal Husbandry and Fishery.
