Detectives investigating robberies.

This last weekend, detectives from the Special Robbery Unit have been busy investigating two reported armed robberies.

-On Friday March 18th an armed robbery took place on the Roses road in Cul de Sac. The victim with initials J.B.C filed a report to detectives stating that walking on the Roses road at approximately 11.45 p.m., in the vicinity of the Cricket field, he was attacked by a group a four unknown men. One of these men had a fire arm with him and threatened to use it. He was then suddenly his to the back of his head. At the same time one of the robbers stole all documents from his pocket.

-On Friday March 18th at approximately 02.10 p.m. on the Soauliga road. The victim with initials J.A.S.O. reported that while walking on the Soualiga road he was approached by a man who asked him if he needed a taxi. The victim refused this offer and continued walking.

The suspect stepped into a car and drove off. Shortly after the victim stated that he was attacked from behind by an unknown man pointing a gun at him. He tried to run away however he was pushed to the ground.

He was then robbed of his gold chain and all of his cash. The robbers stepped into a silver colored car driven by some one else and drove away.

In connection with this case the detectives have arrested two persons suspected of being involved in this case. The investigation continues.
