The St. Maarten Chamber of Commerce and Industry would like to inform the members on the results of the re-submittance postulation of candidates for the Board of Directors of the St. Maarten Chamber of Commerce & Industry that ended on Monday November 22, 2010.
Mr. Ludwig Ouenniche was the only candidate nominated for the Large Business Sector. And met the requirements of the Chamber Election Ordinance (PB 1944 No.202) and consequently has been declared elected to the Board of Directors of the Chamber for the period 2011 until 2013.
Three Candidates postulated to fill the two vacancies on the Board representing the small Business sector. They are Messrs:
Arthur Bute
Hubert Pantophlet
Tamara Leonard
Consequently election for this sector will be held on December 10, 2010 from 8:30am to 12 noon.
Voters are advised to pick up their voting cards at the Chamber of Commerce & Industry office at Cannegieter Street 11.
