On Monday evening the SIMVA 2010 Volleyball Competition continued with more volleyball action of the second round. Super Six met United women in a match that went the full fives sets. United Came out to try to win there firts game in the competition. United started hot winning the two first sets with the scores 25-22 and 25-23.
In the following set Super Six came back to win 25-14. the fourth set was also won by Super Six with the score 25-20 forcing the match to the deciding fifth set. The fifth was tight with both teams fighting point for point. At the exchange of courts the score was 8-7 for Super Six. From there on on Super Six maintained its lead to finished the set 15-12. Super Six after five matches played has won 2 and lost 3 while United remains searching for their first win in five matches.
In the second match United men got a wake up call from the Babylons who raided United in the firts set and only needed 15 minutes to win with a score of 25-13. The youthfull United didn’t take to kindly to that drumming and paid back in kind by winning the second set 25-12. The third set was a seesaw battle between the two men’s team with United coming on top in the third set by winning 25-23. In the fourth set The Babylons seemed to run out of gas and never had a chance. United won easliy in the last set 25-14. United won the match 3 sets to 1. UNited remains unbeaten in the tournament ans stand solidly in firts place with a record of 5-0 while Babylons has lost 4 out of five matches.
