Supporters and sympathizers of the United People’s (UP) party are invited to come out and Team UP on Thursday, August 19 at the Census Office on Pond Island to sign-up the UP party which will be participating in the September 17, 2010 elections.
All new political parties participating for the first time need to be endorsed by 134 members of the electorate in order to ensure participation in the September 17 polls.
Those interested in signing-UP Team UP, should gather at the Census Office from 8.30am on Thursday. You will need to bring some form of Identification showing that you are 18-years or older, such as your ID card, a valid Driver’s License or a valid Passport. Looking forward to seeing you there.
