The DP’s 2010 Congress was a success!
The Democratic Party held their 1st ever Congress at the Rock House Restaurant at Princess Port-de-Plaisance Resort & Casino.
The Congress was well attended and was more focused on the Youth of St.Maarten.
It began at 8:30 am and went until 5 pm on June 6th 2010.
Their scheduled program included breakfast & lunch.
The DP also had some intriguing speakers at it’s Congress which included: Mr.Oral Gibbes who spoke on the media & politics. Inspector Carlyle Rogers was present to speak on the issue of Police/Crime. Ms.Julienne Augusty spoke of the Youth. Ms.Rhoda Arrindell gave a presentation on Language & Development. DP’s leader Mrs.Sarah Wescott-Williams spoke of the Constitution. Their main attraction for the day was the keynote speaker Professor Dr.Eustace L.Arrindell.
At the end, the DP unveiled their new logo which represents their party.
