The Democratic Party, going forward on the DP Express, made its way to several districts on the island promoting the upcoming DP Convention. Party leader Sarah Wescott Williams, Dp Island Council members, boardmembers, candidates of previous elections and supporters all got on board, last Friday and Sunday with the mission to get the word out.
During the convention issues will be discussed such as taxes, heath, 10-10-10, crime and youth. The convention will give an opportunity for all who attend to get information on these subjects and to share ideas and concerns as we work towards a better St. Maarten.
The Democratic Party is honored to have for the 2010 convention Professor Dr. Eustace Arrindell of State University of New York as the keynote speaker.
Space is limited and registration is important to ensure that those attending will be catered to properly. The 2010 Democratic Party Convention will be held next Sunday June 6th at Port de Plaisance. Leading up to the convention the Red Party will continue to promote the convention by visiting all the districts on St. Maarten. Registration can also be done at the faction office on Cannegieter street next to the Police Station. This is the moment you have been waiting for, the DP is going forward and coming to you.
