NAGICO Insurances is one of the corporate sponsors of this year’s St. Maarten Science Fair. NAGICO Managing Director Mr. Ellis stated: "We are pleased to be part of this year’s science fair.
We made a decision to support this educational activity on the basis that the foundation has remained committed to creating awareness of science and technology among our youth, setting the foundation for future professionals in the engineering and other scientific fields. It was even more important to make a contribution as we recognize the challenges the foundation has been facing to keep its annual sponsors during these difficult economic times. Through our assistance we are doing our part to keep this important educational program operational."
Mr. Eric Ellis, accompanied by NAGICO’s Marketing Officer, Mr. Jimmy Challenger, presented a cheque to St. Maarten Science Fair Foundation President Mr. Benson Pompier solidifying the company’s commitment.
The general public has been invited by the Science Fair Foundation to view the various interscholastic science projects at the Bellaire Community Center, this Saturday March 20th from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The awards ceremony will be held at the same location from 7:00 PM.
