The 8th Annual Lionel Bernard Scott Memorial Lecture

The 8th annual Lionel Bernard Scott Memorial Lecture was held on Thursday January 28th 2010 at 8 pm in the PMIA Hall.

The lecture took the form of a panel discussion among prominent Medical Professionals such as Gynecologist Dr.Michel Petit, General Practioner Dr.GLen Bryson & General Surgeon Dr.Felix Holiday on the topic ”Health Care in St.Maarte, it’s Status & Future”, from each of their own perspectives.

The Lionel Bernard SCott Memorial Lecture honored the memory of Mr.L.B.Scott or Brother Bo, a St.Maarten builder, businessman, politician & statesman, who dedicated his life towards the improvement of himself, his family, his people & his island.

The aim of the annual lecture series is to enhance & promote awareness & discussion on current socio-economic & political issues of interest to the development of our community.
