Leader of Government Commissioner William Marlin speech made at the National Day of Prayer service on Sunday at the Clem Labega Square will be aired on January 15 St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 15. The Friday evening airing will be at 7.00pm.
The service was held under the banner, "Reclaiming St. Maarten for Jesus," and was collaboration between the Island Government and Council of Churches.
Commissioner Marlin’s address focused on the separation of church and state.
Marlin touched upon the role of the church and national development followed by the Bible Scripture about the 12 scouts sent to check out the Land of Canaan – the Promised Land.
Televiewers who were not able to attend the service last Sunday now have the opportunity to view the Leader of Government’s address to those in attendance.
