The Chairman of the Central Committee George Pantophlet has secured dates for a Central Committee meeting with the following companies; Gebe N.V., The Princess Juliana Airport and the Harbor Group of companies.
It was as recent as last week Monday that the Chairman of the central committee had asked the Island Secretariat if they had received any response from the government owned companies as to when they would be able to do their presentation. Convocation will be sent to the members of the island council informing them of the dates on which these meetings will be held. The members of the faction of the DP had requested a meeting on the implementation of the new rules of corporate governance, a presentation from the government owned companies on their operations and investments, status annual accounts, performance during 2008, 2009 and prospects for 2010.
