Public Prosecutor demands 8 years for sex with minor

WILLEMSTAD — During the past week, the Public Prosecutor demanded an eight-year’s imprisonment for the 21-year female G.d.S.L., as well as for the 38-year old male B.S. owing to having sex with a minor, in this case a girl of fifteen.

They went out, and repeatedly kept meeting the 38-year old ex-boyfriend of the trainee with whom she had a relationship since her fourteenth year. The outings repeatedly ended at the ex-boyfriend’s apartment, where the teenager and the female had sex, with the male joining in. The student did not desire such, but felt powerless. Moreover, she had fallen for the young female.
On the second evening, a friend of the ex-boyfriend was asked to join in, but when he saw that the teenager did not want this, he was put off. However, on the third evening, another friend of the ex-boyfriend did have sex with the teenager, also against her will. During one of those occasions, the girl had noticed that the female received money from B.S. The relationship between the trainee and the teenager cooled off after the occurrence, to much sorrow of the latter. Eventually, she told her story to a teacher of the school, who alarmed the authorities.
The verdict will be given in two weeks’ time.
