Students of Cycle 2 year 2A from the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Primary School were briefed of the benefits of a savings plan. Sharon Juliet, who is the Customer Service Officer and sales/service officer of the Windward Islands Bank visited the students of Teacher Stuart Johnson on Thursday morning.
The students were apprised of the benefits of saving and the basics in financial responsibility. Tr. Johnson remarked, "the quality education we seek for our students can only continue to be fostered by all stakeholders playing a role in the development of our youth." Johnson thanked Ms. Juliet since it is never too early in life to start saving, the younger the better. He urged parents to make use of this opportunity for their children.
