The training is geared towards those persons who will be responsible for the informational content of their respective departments.

The website is scheduled to be launched at the end of August or early September. The goal of this website is to enable a portal (entry way) for all of government (the Executive Council and the departments) to inform the public not only about the latest developments in government but also about general information aimed to the public.

The website is targeted to civil servants, residents, citizens, students and visitors alike.

The website will consist of 2 parts:

1. The WEB portal

2. The COMPLAINT System

The WEB portal would be handled by assigned persons within each department, namely the WEB COORDINATORS (content managers), who will work with the webmaster.

The COMPLAINT system—divided in two: reports and complaints—will be handled by the REPORT COORDINATORS

The training consisted of an interactive section and a practical part.

The topics discussed were the MICROSOFT OFFICE SHAREPOINT SERVER (MOSS) system, which allows for content management systems to input information or update content on the EGov website.

The domain name of the website will be revealed at a later date.
