The St. Martin Pony League is scheduled to be leaving this Monday morning for Caguas Puerto Rico with its 13 – 14 division selection to take part in the 2009 Pony Caribbean Zone Youth Baseball Tournament.
The tournament will take place at the Estadio de los Campeones in the Complejo Deportivo of Caguas. Expected to take part in this tournament are Dominican Republic, Panama, Bahamas, Honduras, Colombia, Nicaragua, Anguilla, Puerto Rico and St. Martin.
The selected players from St. Martin are: Briamy Gonzales, Frederick Roseau, Engel de los Santos, Paco Isenia, Wilfred James, Randy Richardson, Bryan Barnes, Jose Melo, Daniel Mesa Ramirez, Felix Romney, Keven Coquillas, Yohan Jansen.
St. Martin will be traveling with a 18 person delegation including three board members. Traveling along with the delegation will be umpire Joe Brown of St. Martin whom did a fantastic job as chief umpire during last year’s final game in Panama. The delegation is expected to return on July 19,2009. The delegation will be headed by the league president
