Four police officers officialy sworn in

 

On Friday morning at approximatley 09.30 a.m. four police officers, who have recently finalized the last part of the police training have been officialy sworn in. The names of these officers are M. ATMOPAWIRO, J HODGE, B. ARNDELL and F. BROWN. This ceremony took place in the A.C. Wathey Legislative Hall and was carried out by the Lt. Governor Mr. Franklin Richards in the presence of the Acting Chief of police Commissioner, Chief Inspector D. Francisca, Public prosecutor Taco Stein, Miss Falbru Director of the Police Academy in Curacao, Chief insp. M. Sille and S. Lint.

During this ceremony the Lt. Governor Franklin Richards, Commisionner Doran and Prosecutor Taco Stein congratulated the officers and officialy welcomed them into the police force. They were also given words of caution and advice when carrying out their duties and were wished much success in their carrier.

After this ceremony, the officers were handed their score sheets and diploma’s by the Director of the Police Academy Ms. Falbru, who also wished the officers much success in the carrier. Officer M. ATMOPAWIRO was recognized as the officers with the highest scores.
