" Ms. Burton also spoke about the goals of this year’s campaign which include encouraging businesses to author and implement a HIV work place policy document. The purpose of the HIV work place policy would be to provide a framework for action to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS and to manage its impact and formally outline how issues related to HIV/AIDS will be dealt with by NAGICO in its offices. It will outline procedures, policy positions and on going communication. At the end of the lectures the staff was presented with this years [RED] polo shirts which will be worn every Friday in the month of March.

NAGICO’s [RED] committee has been busy organizing for March. Included in the many activities is the company’s plan to adopt an elementary school and provide it with HIV/AIDS information. A movie night is also being scheduled for the 27th of March featuring the St. Maarten premiere of the movie "One Week". NAGICO also joined with popular talk shows such as All Access with Audrey Jack and Strictly Business with Julian Rollocks for the [RED] campaign. All Access was used as a platform where several female NAGICO staff spoke about the issues affecting women as they examined HIV/AIDS and its impact. Similarly, Strictly Business dealt with the guys and popular myths and concerns men face when they think about HIV/AIDS.
