The Boys’ Brigade companies of St. Maarten/St. Martin will host the Annual Meeting of the Boys’ Brigade Eastern and Southern Caribbean Regional Fellowship from February 4 – 6, 2009.
The Regional Fellowship Meeting opens with an official ceremony at the Philipsburg Methodist Church on Wednesday February 4 at 7:30 pm. Delegates are expected from Antigua, BVI, St. Kitts, Trinidad, Tobago and host St. Maarten/St. Martin.
The business sessions will be held on February 5 & 6 at the Rupert I Maynard Youth Community Center in St. Peters. On the agenda are reports of the past year’s activities, election of new officers to serve the Regional Fellowship and a discussion on the way forward for Boys’ Brigade in the region.
The Boys’ Brigade is an international, interdenominational organization; and is the oldest established uniformed group for boys. Currently there are three active companies on St. Maarten: 1st St. Maarten meets at the Philipsburg Methodist Church; 4th St. Martin meets at the Ebenezer Methodist Church in Marigot and 7th St. Maarten meets at the Bible Baptist Church on the Arch Road.
