A delegation from the First Chamber in the Netherlands is scheduled to visit Saba on Thursday, January 15th 2009. The delegation will be arriving at the Capt. L.A.I. Chance Pier and they will depart Saba on the same day by plane.
Lt. Governor of Saba Mr. Jonathan Johnson has announced in a public announcement that the delegation will be paying an official working visit to the island and during their visit to the island the delegation have requested to have some time to meet with the community of Saba. Said meeting with the community of Saba will be held at the Eugenius Johnson Center in Windwardside starting at 2.30 p.m. until 4.00 p.m. The Lt. Governor said the general public is hereby cordially invited to attend this very important meeting and obtain as much information as possible.
The members of the First Chamber will be also meeting with the Executive Council and a meeting is also planned between them and the Island Council Members of Saba in the morning hours.
