National Alliance councilan George Pantophlet said the government can do more.
Reducing the price of gasoline at the pumps should have come sooner. And the councilman says he wants government to properly explain to the people the issue of how gasoline reserves works. For example does government control this? How often do stations order gasoline? How long does the gasoline last on average? How do we know we are being sold gasoline at the price stipulated by government? When times are tough especially financially people do strange things. Another important matter for me is that government place signs at each gas station with the price of gasoline per liter. This matter has been brought up on several occasions but is still being ignored. Importantly also is the exchange rate that is being used. Is $1.equal to Naf. 1.80, Naf 1.79, Naf 1.78 or Naf 1.77? Government does not need permission from the gas stations to have this enforced. Government can do more.
