Trade mission in Mumbai

WILLEMSTAD — InterExpo will be organizing the Trade Mission ‘Doing Business with the Netherlands Antilles & Surinam in Mumbai’, in cooperation with Market Drive (Mumbai). This trade mission will take place from April 19th until April 21st, 2010.

It is now the time for Antillean and Surinamese companies to invest in the establishing of relations with ‘booming India’, and explore their market, according to InterExpo.
During the trade mission, companies contacts will be made and many activities and meetings will be organized, enabling the participants to share and exchange thoughts with each other and their Indian counterparts as well as explore their possibilities in the market.
Information will be given on the economical development and on doing business in India. The program also includes individual conversations with Indian contacts, which are geared to the company profile and/or specific requests from the participants. Several collective visits to companies and relevant institutes have been scheduled as well as activities promoting the Netherlands Antilles and Surinam as attractive investment countries.
The agenda also includes network dinners and receptions in the presence of accompanied politicians and administrators from the Netherlands Antilles and Surinam to which business partners are also invited.

The main point of the trade mission will regard the waste disposal industry, Argo Industry, automobile industry, bio technology, construction (materials), ICT, IT, chemistry and synthetics, harbor & airport, clothing and textiles, medical sector, metal (working), investment and business cooperation in the infrastructure, (means of) transport and logistic, shipbuilding repairs, tourism, recreation and catering industry, financial services, petrochemistry, energy, telecommunication, nutrition and synthetics, water sustainability, R & D, and other industrial sectors.

InterExpo is of the opinion that there are also plenty opportunities for technical-scientific cooperation and outsourcing.
