~Workshops begin on Monday July 10th~
Art Saves Lives Foundation held a reception on Sunday July 9th for Sponsors, the visiting and local artists participating in Art Saves Lives’ 5th annual Summer Intensive. The event which was held at Rhum and Peas was sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism. “Continental Drift” is the forthcoming showcase of St. Maarten’s Art Saves Lives Foundation. Through time-lapsed rhythms, poetry and dance, this work explores the natural and political forces that have shifted and shaped us.
Art Saves Lives Summer Intensive will be held from July 10th to 14th at John Larmonie Center (NIA) and Great Bay Sports Auditorium in Philipsburg. The Student Showcase will be held at the Philipsburg Cultural Center on Saturday July 15th at 7PM. Tickets for the performance are available at the John Larmonie Center from any ASL member. Additional locations will be announced later. Businesses and wishing to donate to ASL’s Summer Intensive or persons needing additional information are asked to contact Art Saves Lives at email@example.com or 721-526-8590.
