On July 29, 2015, ten volunteers from the U.S. Forward Operating Location (USFOL) visited
Dierenasiel Curacao to deliver 68 kilos of donations. The volunteers spent the morning
grooming and socializing with the animals. Dierenasiel Curaҫao provides dogs and cats a safe
home until a forever home is found. The USFOL started working with Dierenasiel in 2011.
Since 2000, members of the USFOL have built strong partnerships with community-based
organizations in Curaçao, including Dierenasiel, to express their appreciation for the hospitality
they have received from the citizens of Curaçao.
