Political Jargon

Member of Parliament George Pantophlet would like to know what is taking the UP/DP supported Minister of General Affairs Sarah Wescot- Williams so long to respond to the few questions posed almost two months ago. Unless the Minister has forgotten the questions had to do with the amount of Dutch passports revoked, the countries and the reasons such actions were taken. Also the protocol or agreement signed between them and the Governor. The Member of Parliament said that he will again be addressing the fact on persons being taken out of the civil and voter’s registrar. The Minister should stop the stalling and present the information. If it is not a thunder load of persons a phrase attributed to the Minister then why is it taking so long. And if a protocol/agreement is in place then where is it? Indeed the Minister is treading on the Rights of the people of this island. The MP said that he was informed that the amount is in the hundreds. And he wants to know who is really in charge of the Civil Registrar. It was interesting to hear that the Minister had expressed concerns for something that falls under her authority. Is she saying that decisions are being taken unilaterally without her consent or approval? Stating that discussions were held between her Ministry , the Ministry of Justice and the Governor and that they the Ministry of General Affairs and the Ministry of Justice are looking into the matter is just Political Jargon from the Minister of General Affairs and stall tactics. The longer this matter drags on the better it looks for the smallest party the DP. Persons whose relatives have been affected by this are thinking of not voting which would be in the interest of both DP and UP party. Don’t fall into this trap people. When one hears the words in the near future it should be taken with a grain of salt. What has the Minister been doing all these months? IF it is just a few then why everywhere one walks he is being approached or called concerning this issue? If you did not know who initiated the investigation of this matter you would think it was the Minister of General Affairs. The response from Minister Sara Wescot-Williams is nothing but political jargon.
