Dear Editor,
There is saying in Papiamento which says: "priminiti ta debe" meaning a promise is a debt.
Well I wasn’t exactly promised but all indications coming from my union leader, Ms. Deiry Leonard, that the fire was re-lit under the pot of the consumer advocacy. The consumers on this 37 square miles island can start cooking. And don’t mark my words yet but I am sure it is a coal pot and anyone who enjoyed meal which was cook on coal pot knows that there is nothing like it.
The pot is boiling and the unions are ready to throw in the ingredients, hmmm lekker. Once it’s done everyone will get their fair share and the emphasis is on-air. Everyone anxiously awaiting this day and no Madame Prime Minister, you can’t stop what belongs to us the people, nevah!
