Permanent Committee Kingdom Affairs and Inter-parliamentary Relations to meet on February 26

The Permanent Committee of the House of Parliament for Kingdom Affairs and Inter-parliamentary Relations is scheduled to meet February 26th.

The permanent committee meeting is set for Wednesday at 10.00am in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg.

The six point agenda concerns the following: invitation to a tripartite meeting in the week of May 5 in Aruba; invitation for IPKO (the four parliaments of the Kingdom) in the week of June 06 in The Hague, the Netherlands in connection with the outcome from the inter-parliamentary conference hed in January 2014.

 

The third agenda point is a draft proposal Kingdom Law regarding the withdrawal of authority to establish a Fishing Zone, and changes to the establishment of the sea borders of the Kingdom.

Agenda four: changes to the General Regulation of the World Postal Union; to establish the General Post Treaty and the Treaty regarding Postal Financial Services.

Agenda five: changes to pages I and II regarding the International Treaty to Prevent Ship Spills, 1973.

Agenda six: a proposed Kingdom Law to change the Kingdom Law Dutch Nationality where it concerns extensions among other changes.

Members of the public are invited to the House of Parliament to attend parliamentary deliberations.

The House of Parliament is located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.
