Partial closure also of Cannegieter Street
Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), there will be a partial road of the Union Road in Cole Bay from the entrance to Port de Plaisance to Marigot and vice versa.
The road will be closed on Wednesday night at 11.00pm to 5.00am. The project had to be executed on Monday evening however due to technical errors with the equipment this could not take place.
The closure is in connection with the Simpson Bay Causeway Round-a-bouts (West) Union Road, Cole Bay near the border.
The closure will facilitate the milling, cleaning, supply and installation and compacting of the asphalt top layer on the main roads that will connect to the round-a-bout.
Infrastructure works will also be carried out on the Cannegieter Street intersection in the vicinity of GEBE and the road will be closed from Chippie Café to Office World on Wednesday evening from 7.00pm to 6.00am.
Motorists are requested to be vigilant and observant for the traffic directional signs.
