The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams presented some two-dozen civil servants with their certificates of completion of the recently completed Government laws course organized by the Department of Legal Affairs.
"I was here when the program got started and we all were quite excited that the possibility was there for you to attend this course, bringing you up to speed on the various legal items with regards to Government. I am extremely pleased that you all have completed the course and I want to say congratulations. You all know how I feel about education in general and of civil servants more specifically and I believe that if you continue to pursue your individual goals in terms of education and training you are elevating the entire government apparatus. This is not the end and I ensure that other opportunities will present themselves for further training," concluded the Prime Minister.
