U.S. Forward Operating Location Staff Paint Graves at Military Cemetery

Volunteers from the U.S. Forward Operating Location (USFOL) continue to serve various community organizations on Curacao. On 11 April 2013, USFOL personnel spent the morning putting fresh coats of paint on the graves at the Dutch Military Cemetery located in Otrabanda.

This project was done in partnership with the Military Heritage Foundation, in preparation for the Fourth of May remembrance of the fallen service men and women at the cemetery. The USFOL’s Community Relations (COMREL) projects are led by the Chapel Team, in order to reciprocate the hospitality that they have received from the citizens of Curacao.
