Ministry of Public Health, Social Development and Labor keep talks with CPO’s

On Friday February 22nd representatives form the Ministry of Public Health, Social Development and Labor headed by Mrs. Maria Henry held a discussion with several CPO’s at the Philipsburg Police Station. The main topic of this discussion was to form a partnership between both departments along with other stakeholder in combating and minimizing the mosquito and rodent population on the island of Sint Maarten. (Reducing the risk of the Dengue Fever and other diseases)

The discussion was very informative and the CPO’s were more than happy to form partnership with the Health Department in supporting this initiative. A presentation by the Public Health Department is forthcoming and meetings will be held with the other stakeholders in the very near future in regard to this topic.
