Skanfonds reps visit Sint Maarten House

On Tuesday, January 29th Drs. Henriette Hulsebosch, Director of Skanfonds along with Bas Pieck, Senior Policy Advisor of Skanfonds, paid a courtesy visit to Sint Maarten House in The Hague, the Netherlands.

Since the late 1980s Skanfonds, a Dutch funding agency, has been operating in Sint Maarten, and has financed a number of projects and continues to fund different projects in the Dutch Caribbean.

According to Minister Plenipotentiary Hon. Mathias Voges, organizations dedicated to the care of vulnerable persons in society, and those involved in strengthening social cohesion, have come into consideration for funding.

Skanfonds is active in the Netherlands, the Dutch Caribbean, Suriname, and also assists in funding approximately 700 projects on an annual basis.
