On 22 January 2013, over 30 volunteers from the U.S. Forward Operating Location (USFOL) visited the Christoffel National Park. Hiking from the Visitors Center to the summit of Mount Christoffel for several hours, they cleared 5 bags of trash along this strenuous hiking trail to help enhance Curacao’s natural beauty. This is part of their on-going effort to assist the National Park and the island overall in order to preserve its unique natural resources, so they can be enjoyed by all for years to come..
